Meeting 10 was made available to students, parents, teachers, job seekers and carers aged 16-19yrs old in Slough and beyond.

We were pleased to be joined on screen for our 10th meeting of the Work Ready Club sponsored by SEGRO centenary fund and supported by the Windsor Forest Group and VirginMediaO2.
Apprentices and Windsor Forest Colleges. Emma Raymond gave a comprehensive overview of what is required to get an apprenticeship. There was an enigmatic insight into the career change made by James, who moved from an Engineering degree at University to the role of an Apprentice. This life changing adjustment was explained and certainly provided food for thought.

The challenge of virtual interviews and an international relocation was explained by Asma and the event was compered by our own Learning to Work guru Yasmin Thorn-Davis who is always open for any questions by the audience. This video and previous events are now all available free online. @WorkReadyClub #networking #careers #apprenticeships #Slough @SEGRO
