This Work Ready Conference firstly offers the students highly interactive and engaging set of workshops and activities for students to explore future pathways as well as expectations in the World of Work. This day delivers students the opportunity via business engagement to:

• Examine effective use of strategic tools in the workplace
• Explore alternative Pathways and People Like Me careers
• Network with business volunteers from a variety of disciplines

In the afternoon of 11th December 2019, Ditton Park Academy students got to engage with a new set of business volunteers in a speed networking session. Four/six students are sat around a table and a business volunteer joins them for 5 minutes to answer any questions the students have, after five minutes the business volunteers change over to different tables so the students get a wide range of employer engagement.
